Review: MSSQL to MySQL is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to move MS SQL databases to the MySQL server. It can be seamlessly used. The interface of the application is based on a wizard, so you simply need to follow some steps to carry on with a task. Upon deployment, you can select the conversion mode between moving the items to the MySQL server directly, and storing them into a dump file. Once you specify the MS SQL server, you can connect to it by using either Windows or SQL Server authentication. Once you select the source and destination database names, you can proceed with the conversion procedure. MSSQL to MySQL is able to process views, indexes or just the table definitions. The simple-to-use program runs on a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it should not interfere with the runtime of other active processes. It has a good response time and rapidly finishes a conversion job, without making the operating system hang, crash or pop up error dialogs; we have not come across any difficulties throughout our testing. Aside from the fact that MSSQL to MySQL has not been updated for a very long time, it delivers a quick solution to users who are looking to move MS SQL databases to the MySQL server.
